Did you get any spore prints?
There are many that are more qualified to answer than me. They look similar to the panaeolus cinctulus that I’ve found recently. They would have a jet black spore print.
Are these pictures from the 4th? How are you storing them? Is there any bluing?

No bluing.. i have just had them drying on my counter. how ever the underside off the cap turned really purple which i know doesnt necessarily mean anything and it only happened to one of them. Its in the first picture i posted. .i didn't take a spore print how ever one did get left on my counter which is unfortunately dark brown.. but it does look jet black. Here it is i dont know if it helps though... Is there always blue bruising?

I could be completely wrong. That’s why I won’t claim to ID for you. They could be a inactive pan like foenisecii.
I’m going to let a TI give the final word. And I know that there are lots of folks more experienced with panaeolus species than I am.
For now I’d advise you to wait and see what they’d say. You can navigate your way from the main site to the page that lists which active mushrooms grow wild in your area. Use the search feature and research . Learn from all of the wise people.
Welcome to Shroomery!

Panaeolus foenesecii I'd assume the shops advertising on this site would be reliable, but maybe you should ask in the cultivation forum, they'll help you out.

Get your post count up and stick around for....90 days I think. After that all kinds of neat stuff opens up on this site and you'll have 0 issues finding spores strictly for microscopy use

Id reccomend against getting a kit, all you need is spores or lc, kits will just stunt your growth as a cultivator

Hmmm maybe p cinticulus after all, honestly i think the whole genus panaleous needs to be studied more, maybe if i get the time and money i will do some independent research. There had been alot of research on this forum into p cinticulus and imo almost all species of pans are poorly studied. I would eat them and see if you trip worst that happens is you feel nothing.

Have you taken any pictures of them before you picked them? If they're P Cinticulus they have a distinctive dark ring around the edge of the cap but it fades quickly after you pick them. Black spore print means it isn't P Foenisecii as their spore print is dark brown and those look black to me. Foenisecii and Cinticulus look quite similar, I'm not too sure of the possibility of them growing together, maybe you've picked both?

I do.apreciate all the responses.. @boodoo. They were all in the lawn after mowing and a heavy rain..in a 5 ft aroun patch or so..but no i dont have any prior to pick.. and some did have a dark ring and some did not... also in the very first pic i uploaded with that highly purple piece.. that was the only purple out of the whole batch and only one bluing stem. thats why i thought perhaps there were a couple similar types in one area. Im not positive enough to eat them and i know i probably cat do enough research to make myself comfortable enough to eat them but i have seen that blue before.lol. .
