Spontaneous Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak 1

Hello all, I'm new to posting here so I hope I'm posting this in the correct location.
I believe that I experienced a spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid leak during my recent mushroom trip.
In the late evening I had taken a mix of dried PES Amazonian & Treasure Coast that totaled 4.29g after fasting for over 16 hours. The come up was VERY strong and VERY quick, to say the least. During the peak a few hours later I was laying in bed because my motor skills and language center were both non-functional/scrambled-like-eggs at the moment. Practically everything either had dozens of eyes, was phasing in or out of existence, or was an expanding fractal that made focus of vision impossible.
While I was lying on my back in bed (a bit overwhelmed and shocked with amazement), this was when I noticed my a wet and warm feeling in my left ear. I didn't think to taste it and test it for that metallic taste CSF is supposed to have, but I'm very confident it wasn't wet earwax or water. I ruled out that it was water trapped in the ear canal because I had not showered yet that day, and it certainly didn't feel like earwax does.
After searching the internet I found it a little strange that I couldn't find mention of this happening to others - even if it rarely happens. I can't find anything online connecting sCSF leaks and mushroom trips. Has anyone else ever experienced a sCSF leak during a mushroom trip??

You had the feeling when you were tripping?
If so, and you describe your trip as pretty intense, how do you know it was actual fluid coming out of your ear canal and not just a sensation brought upon by the trip?
Just asking as, in all of my research, I have never heard of mushrooms leading to such a phenomena in otherwise healthy adults (or anyone for that matter).

More or less. Out of all the possibilities - CSF leak? That’s highly unlikely.

Yeah, take it to a doctor if you're concerned. Mushrooms don't do this sort of thing but they DO make you imagine all sorts of things.

ear can easily exude both sweat and a runny mucous.
if you were excited during the trip, duh, you could easily have had a runny ear.
it's like a runny nose, I have had it! not from shrooms but from using earbuds (of course I was on a bit of acid at the time.).

Yes, near the peak. It seemed like actual fluid coming out. I placed my index finger in there, felt the liquid pooling in the notch, then looked at it. When I was temporarily able to focus on my finger I saw a clear liquid on it. It's only my 3rd time doing mushrooms so maybe I don't fully know how real hallucinations can seem, but it seemed quite real. I'm not concerned enough to visit a doctor about it - just found it really strange.

I was quite excited! I've experienced something like that from wearing earbuds before, but this seemed slightly different. Interesting thought though, more plausible than CSF. Thanks for sharing.

You,leak from all sorts of orifices, depending on dose. And I’m not trying to be gross there! You will yawn, runny nose, runny eyes, dribbling from your mouth, no reason why you wouldn’t leak from your ears. I can sweat bucket loads, while shivering with cold!
Take care DJ Ed

I agree that this being an OEV / hallucination is way more likely than leaky spine with no other symptoms. Everyone I know with actual CSF leaks has had INTENSE pain -- you'd know if you had it. But as others say, if you're really worried, got see a doc and get a CT scan.
