dont get a kit!!!! do things the proper way by following a proven tek. you will have way better odds at actually growing mushrooms and not just a block of bacteria glazed mold. all of that shit is made by lazy ppl who dont give a shit for ppl who must not really give a shit. if u put in the needed effort on your first grow you will end up with way more mushrooms than u would by wasting all that $ on something you will just throw in the garbage. simply just search bods teks and find one that you like and read it then re read it and after that read it again. then once you know what u like go out and buy what u need. at a second hand store like goodwill or something you can get a pressure cooker and a dehydrator for under 50$ usually. i promise you that you will easily spend more $$ and time dicking with kits and crap than if you just did it the right way from the start. plus wel all help u get thru it as long as your putting in the effort. also the search engine here is the best there is. hell you could honestly get thru everything without even having to ask for help at all its that good so learn to use that and you can filter the results too so it will give you more up to date info. just plz do yourself a favor and stay away from kits. there is no such thing as add water and watch it grow. iv you want that i suggest a chia pet or sea horses. you will thank yourself that you did it the right way from the start. cuz just search the words grow kit and see what happens. its not like the advertising just dont get duped is all 😃😃
here u go man happy learning😃😃

Yeah you’ll get way more for half the price on your own.
Although seems like they should be easy to find. It blew my mind how many people openly sell mushrooms online now, on sites that show up on google.
Gotta love bitcoin.

Start with making your own BRF/verm jars, its very hard to go wrong, and very cheap to start: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=24981864&page=0&vc=1#24981864
It's the perfect place to start for "i dont need much" and "i dont mind learning", and is more likely to be successful than a kit. Just follow Bod's write-up and get a spore syringe from a sponsor (or wherever really, but sponsors end up being vetted by the community and get dropped if they are unreliable, which makes them a good bet).
Make sure to get the gold standard half-pint wide-mouth jars. They were hard to find for a few years, but seem to be pretty widely available these days (e.g. $9 for 12 from Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Kerr-Glass-Mason-Jar-W-Lid-Band-Wide-Mouth-8-Ounces-12-Count/16661824).
