Possible Bacterial Contamination on Colonizing Sub

Hey!
I made a few tubs and after about 9 days I noticed they weren't colonizing the way they usually do.

They started forming blobs and isn't the type of mycelium I am used to seeing. For this project I didnt use any different techniques from normal. The only thing that maybe have been a factor was that it has been extremely hot here the last 4 or 5 days and I only have a fan as a means of regulating temperature. I've been doing this for some time and have a fairly consistent success rate. I'm hoping to figure out if it actually is messed up and if so what the root cause so as to avoid something similar in the future.

Thats normal and happens from time to time. Very similar to 'fuzzy feet' where mycellium will begin to grow in the air.
"Long stems, underdeveloped or cracked caps, “fuzzy feet” and other deformities can result from inadequate lighting, too much moisture or poor airflow. The vast majority of mushrooms need some degree of diffused light to grow. As the fruit grows, it will turn toward light.
A poorly lit area will cause the stem to grow too long as it tries to point the cap, which will stay small and narrow, toward light. Too much moisture or not enough moisture can also cause deformities. Don’t allow logs to sit in pools of water or place any medium in an area that stays consistently moist.
Moisture is good for mushrooms but you must give it an opportunity to evaporate. If moisture is inadequate, mushrooms might produce but will be dry and brittle with cracked caps. Add more and consistent moisture if you encounter this. As with any other part of the process, good airflow is important to avoiding deformities. Mushrooms like high CO2 environments and will develop fuzzy feet with a lack of fresh air."

Bacteria usually slimes shit up this looks white as it should. have no idea why this happens tho. looks like it denses because of some environmental change, maybe its the temp swings shocking the thing just guessing

I’m interested to see how this goes. Definitely doesn’t look normal to me but I don’t ever case my cubes since it isn’t needed especially if you live in as humid of environment as I do. Southern US. 🤷♂️
Looks healthy though! I’ve just never seen such white blobs come through on casing pics I’ve seen.
EDIT: might wanna look at healthy pics of cases tubs and compare yours to those. Seems like something is off with this tub but I’m not able to say what.

That’s bacterial for sure. Doesn’t mean it won’t fruit though.
Sometimes rhizo fans will fuzz up but not form actual solid masses like that.

I have just harvested this really bacterial shoebox but it turned out very well. I would avoid wet conditions for this tubs.
