If you airfry french fries and dip them into unsweetened applesauce you are literally eating nothing but potato and apple. No fat, no nothing.
Its an art to airfry unfattened potato fries though!

Try it. Wings in the air fryer are incredible.
I've had the best wings in the world and air fryer wings are on par with them.

The Cuisinart air fryer is a true multitasker. Toaster oven, convection oven, dehydrator (perhaps even more useful to some of us!), and a dozen other functions. Highly recommend!

I have the mealthy (meal + healthy) crisplid, its a air fryer that fits atop the instant pot, its pretty good, its just small I tried cooking 20 wings and I had to do it in 3 batches cause I could only fit 7 at a time, and each batch took 30 minutes so when I finished 90 minutes later some of the wings were cold and some were too hot to eat
I also bought 2 bags of jalopeno poppers that came out soggy in the oven, but in the crisplid they came out crispy and good, but again I could only fit half a dozen at a time
I also cooked sweet potato fries, they came out alright I think (im not a sweet potato fry guy) but took me like 3 or 4 batches to cook 2 potatos worth of fries
you have to use a little bit of oil to get a good crisp, I buy spray-able coconut oil, I think thats easier then brushing stuf with olive oil, and the only fats I use are butter, lard, coconut oil and olive oil

I just used my air fryer for some asparagus and it made me think of this legendary air fryer thread
Dude, seriously sometimes this thing is an absolute game changer, I normally roast asparagus in the oven and I usually prefer the asparagus tips crisp by the time they come out, and it takes a good while. Like I gotta sit back and drink a few beers or something before they're done.
But in the air fryer they were just about perfect in roughly 15 minutes. I definitely don't prefer the air fryer for everything but in some instances it is super handy
