Active Pans? UK
    #26804794 - 07/05/20 08:07 AM (3 years, 7 months ago)

I apologize for the super messy post. These pictures were taken over a two day period of a set of mushrooms growing on my doorstep. It's summer in the UK, and it's been wet for weeks. I've found panaeolus cints in the yard, and panaeolus olivaceus in the neighbourhood. I'm wondering if any of these could be active? Are they foes? I can update with more information soon, I'm doing a spore print atm. I've been ovserving these things grow. They're dark brown with reddish tones when wet. Even the stems were dark at one point, but have dried to something paler. Certain caps have dried in a particular fashion, much like a cint/foe would dry. What do you all think? Sorry again for the messy post layout.

Habitat:
Maintained grassland (lawn/garden)

Gills:
Brown, will update.

Cap:

Spore print color:

Bruising:
Incoming

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Some dark/blue bruising at the base of stems. I think this was mycelium when I first picked them. You can see shades of red appearing on the stems as they dry. Mostly straight, slightly winding.

I confirmed two of them as cints with a jet black spore print. The others mostly appeared brown, so I disposed of them.
