Hi, on Friday i made some no pour MEA agar plates with MEA mix I bought on ebay. My pressure cooker is a pressure king pro which has a max pressure of 50kpa (7.2 PSI). I pressure cooked them for 80 minutes and left them because i'm busy with work. i put them in an future monotub container (first grow) and haven't looked at them until yesterday where they all had bacterial growth. I had a small hole for Gas exchange which i covered in micropore tape before PCing them. Is this a problem with sterilization or with my grow area (which is a bit dirty)?
I also have 5 bags of uncle ben's rice which are in the same grow area (wardrobe) that are colonizing (slowly as the temp is around 69 nice - 71°F ) and aren't showing signs of any contamination.
I want to know if I need to clean my wardrobe again with bleach solution / something stronger, or if its the pressure cooker (I intend to get a good one that goes up to 15 PSI but i don't have the money atm) as I also have 2.5kg of sterilized(?) whole brown rice which I don't want to be contaminated.
If anyone could help a noob out, I'd greatly appreciate it as I sunk the last of my money into this.
Mush Love, peace

No pour plates contaminating quickly is probably a sterilization issue. What no-pour tek are you using?
Its also possible that taking them out of the PC earlier than you should could cause contams to suck in as they cool.
Leaving plates for several days to allow any present contams to show themselves is good practice in general.

thanks for the advice, the next time i make up some plates i will let them cool in the pressure cooker. i'm thankful at least that my grow area isn't so contaminated that it'll fuck up anything i put in there (although i do have some black mold that won't die in there).
I'm using josex no pour agar tek, https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25137693/fpart/all/vc/1
