Can I use 2 months old ms agar transfer to grains?

I germinated spores on agar, took a transfer around 2 months ago. Can I still use this to inoculate grain? Just want to find some new genetics to clone. Here's some pics

I don't think there's anything wrong with using older plates, but to me that looks very unorganised, could be contaminated.

I'd take another transfer just to be safe, and then you get the bonus of seeing if the growth has been effected by time.

How has it been stored?

I’ve been wondering the same question. I wanna see what happens with this plate.
