Habitat:
Pasture, Scotland

Gills:
Cream to dark grey with age, mottled. Adnexed.

Stem:
Up to 10cm length, 2-4mm diameter, cream at top, tan at base, brittle,fibrous, hollow, thin, wavy.

Cap:
Diameter 1-4cm, tan/cream/cinnamon, smooth, conical to umbonate, some knobbed

Spore print color:
Appears black, going to try it on black paper as well as white to see if it shows up.

Bruising:
No apparent bruising.

Smell: mushroomy

My guess is Panaeolus acumnatus.

I'm pretty sure there not cincts, cincts have thick stems with fibers on them, almost like little hairs.

Because the stems are so thick is why I’m agreeing.  There are various reasons why there could be no fibers, handling being one of them.  These appear to have been well handled.  The pictures are also blurring out around the stem.  The areas that haven't been handled have the fibers.


The fibers are also present on acuminatus, so the lack of fibers is :shrug:

I dont know, the stems seem fairly thick and fibrous to me. I could be mistaken though...
