Fake Marijuana Vape Cartridge? 2

Hey everyone! Okay, I recently got what appeared to be a great deal on two supposedly medical marijuana vape cartridges. They are called The Good Stuff, which seems to be the brand, and the product line seems to be called "Girl Scout." I have been smoking this in drips and drabs, going lightly, obviously due to all the controversy surrounding vaping THC oils. Anyway, here is a picture. Any thoughts?

^This.
How did you acquire it? Did you purchase it from a cannabis store? Are you in a legal state? Or is it from a dealer/friend?
"Girl Scout" would be the strain, not the product line lol.
If you didn't purchase it from a cannabis store yourself and if you're not in a legal state then it's likely just another black market CART that is packaged to look like it is an actual product from a cannabis store.
No doubt there are some "good" & clean/safe carts out there on the black market, but I personally would not touch any carts that didn't come from a weed store unless I knew the person making them...Who knows what is in it or what cutting/thinning agents they used in the oil.
Cartridges from the black market is what was causing all of the health issues in recent times because of the thinning/cutting agents they used in the oil and possibly the heating elements/materials used...Vaping cannabis oil itself is not the issue at all, dabbing and inhaling vapor from cannabis oil is totally safe.
What ever garbage is being put into some of those carts is what is causing the issues (one of the main culprits was vitamin E that was being used as a cutting agent, which is not supposed to be vaped/inhaled and is absolutely horrible for the lungs).
I don't want to totally scare you away from carts...they can be convenient and a low-key way to toke. And not all cartridges on the black market are "dangerous/bad". It's just there's no way of knowing what exactly is in them , to me it's like a gamble unless you know the person making them and trust they're doing it legitimately...Or if you actually purchased it from a store.
If it is from a cannabis store tho...I wouldn't be concerned at all.

Hey how the hell are you, Socrateshroom! I hope all is well, brother.

From a good friend who says that they originally come from a dispensary. However, to answer you and openmind, while I trust my friend implicitly, he got it from someone who supposedly got it from a medical dispensary.
More on your post, openmind, I have a real dilemma here. I paid $50.00 a pop for these 1 gram cartridges, and I don't know whether I should be tossing them into the garbage or not. I don't vape huge amounts, and these 1 gram cartridges last me anywhere from 3 to 6 months. Because I also alternate some bud in there, so as not to vape too much. If money wasn't so tight, I would just eat the $100.00 (I have two of them) and flush them down the toilet. I still may. I am an avid fitness buff, and cycle a lot and lift weights, and I'm not sure I can justify taking the chance. I am going to call my friend today and ask him about whether or not he can absolutely vouch for the product. A few things about my vaping history:
First, for the past two years, I have exclusively used Hashtag Honey cartridges, and I am pretty confident they were all real. Well, actually that brand is technically fake, but the rep is they are safe fakes. I looked online for ways to tell fakes. Second, one concern I have is that the oil in these Girl Scout cartridges is much less viscous than the oil in the hashtag Honey carts. Not sure if this means anything, but when I turned over my Hashtag Honey carts, the oil was so thick, it often took minutes for the oil to flow downward toward the upended top of the cartridge. With these Girl Scout carts, though, the oil is very thin. Also, the Hashtag Honey carts had a pungent cannabis smell, and the smell on these Girl Scouts is very mild. It also doesn't taste the same as the Hashtag Honey, which is a concern to me.
I think my first step here is to talk to my friend. But right now, I am grudgingly leaning toward tossing these out. I just don't think $100.00 is worth gambling my health on.

100 dollars is not much. So if you have to eat that amount it'll be ok. I don't vape myself very much because I do consume a lot and my tolerance would be literally out of control.
