Picked in U.K. on a Moore, around cow dung

Hello, first time posting on this site and first time I have picked mushrooms in the wild. I’m about 90% sure these are not poisonous and the right kind of mushrooms I want to take. But I would like a second opinion.

Habitat: On a Moore after a few wet days, always around or growing directly out of cow dung
Gills: Ranging from grey to black
Stem: Between 2cm and 10cm, cream colour
Cap: Like a liberty cap, but a little bit rounder maybe?
Spore print color: I’m really sorry I don’t know what this means!
Bruising: Cream to brown colour
Other information: They don’t really smell of anything. They were a little slimy to pick but it had been raining a lot

Yes they were a bit slimy. Does this mean they are no good for a high?

Definitely not, liberty cap season is around the corner, they're the only one you wanna be looking for mate. In a few months go to the same area you found these and almost definitely will be some libs there.

I’m going with panaeolus semiovatus. The spore print of the one in the picture appears to be black, but it also has a veil. The concave bowl formation is characteristic of panaeolus. The pictures I used for comparison line up too.

I think you may be correct, good work mate.
P. S. Those drawings in your gallery are the bomb, did you draw them yourself?

jesus dont just go picking up random mushrooms cuz they grow on cow dung.
those are NOT active and they are NOT edible, if they were slimy it had alkaloids on the outside, you need to wash your hands with lots of soap until the smell is all gone and please dear god dont touch your eyes or nose or mouth.
dont pick random mushrooms if you have no clue what they are. i know i got sold some fake ones once but id never fucking just pick random ones

Uhhhhh that's not how any of this works. Handle all the mushrooms you want, theres nothing wrong with it and the whole slimy...alkaloids thing.... that's just not even remotely correct. Theres nothing wrong with picking every single mushroom you find. Quit spreading bad information and mycophobia.
Oh also, panaeolus semiovatus is infact edible.

I agree, Protostropharia will have purplish colored spores and I can clearly see black spores in the picture. Also, Protostropharia doesn't have an elongated cap like the above specimens, the color of Protostropharia is also more yellowish.
