Last night was wild and perplexing. Prior trips had lead me to an understanding of oneness, however last night's experience was a lesson in how there's more than just me and that I should take it easy on trying to identify the ineffable. I was operating under the opinion that all things are one thing manifesting itself as all things, the absolute horror of that perspective eluded me until last night. Now I'm operating under the opinion that there's just a bunch of stuff and the idea that there's only one thing was an illusion. Or I'm coping hard, thoughts? Could use some outside perspective, pretty please.

seeing the connectedness of all things in mind, all composed of the same mindstuff, all resonant in the moment equally, and all resultant and causative of all -- well that type of truth has meaning while you are in a position to understand it, and when you are no longer able to see mind stuff as of the same essence with body stuff, distinctions prevail and we have to go with what we see.
I think we have to let the waves of psychedelic understanding wash against the shores of sobriety, the sand sifts - understanding comes and goes like the tides - until you are high once again somehow, you may not find meaning in oneness.

I've been meditating on what I was taught. I went into the trip with an idea about myself that I clung to without realization and this idea lead not to "oneness", but absolute total isolation. In hindsight it was my ego getting in the way as I am not this or that, but rather I am only I am. Thank you for your response, you're right about it being like waves breaking on shore. Cheers!
