hey everyone! finally started to get fruits on what i was told was penis envy, however these fruits coming in are kinda just looking like normal cubes & i wanted to get some second opinions

(fruiting them like a cake in a monotub over a sub that refused to produce fruits bc i was getting side pins like a motherfucker hahaha)
thanks!!

It could be that you got PE6. Apparently the PE mutation is not quite stabilized in PE6 as pointed out in this post
I think I read somewhere that with PE6 you will sometimes get normal cubes and sometimes PE characteristics. If you are doing MS, you could try again and maybe you'll get PE-like fruits.

I don't think you got PE. Might be PE6 but my PE6 had PE qualities. I would go with a regular cube. Beautiful though.

thanks!! yeah, like you all said i'm thinking it's either PE6 or just some random cube. a little bummed it's not gonna be having the potency of an actual PE, but it's growing gorgeously so i've got nothing to complain about. i'll definitely be taking a clone of that center cluster

What if you took some prints from the ones with PE characteristics? Would that help lead towards an actual PE? You could keep getting prints and it would just grow closer and closer or am I just high?

eh, i have a feeling that wouldn’t rlly do much, but maybe someone w more knowledge can weigh in on the subject. i’m just not sure you could breed back to the mutation but i could def be wrong

My pe6 looked totally normal.

Apparently the normal traits became dominant over time once people started growing it, because it was accidentally sent out and people are dicks and didn’t listen when they were asked to not pass on prints because it wasn’t ready yet.

It could but unfortunately due to the lack of care in the stabilization of the line, I doubt it would be easy. Too much heterozygosity lost when it was needed. Probably take a lot of grows to find what you wanted at each generation. Probably would need to run it for at least 4 generations to make a difference. It’s possible to do, just not likely.
Crossing the cubes is the easy part. Stabilizing them takes a lot of time and a lot of patience.
