Hi, I’m a longtime grower, my fruiting chamber is a 1950 something gutted Airstream trailer. It is actually a perfect environment for fruiting. All aluminum interior walls and ceiling. I have owned it for 40 years and grown many mushrooms and a lot of different contamination over the years. In the last year or so I decided to start growing again, there is so much information available. Back in the 80’s and 90’s about all we had Pauls growing manual which we wore out and had to repair. Now you can get so many products at the touch of a screen. We always figured if some kind of problem we could just tow the airstream away and is still the same today. Anyway I am fruiting in bins on pasteurized horse manure, with spawn grown on organic rye grain. I have a fog system with a humidistat, as well as a fresh air system with a hepa filter on a timer. I have another trailer that is my lab I have a 24x24 hepa flow hood and use the fridge as my incubation with a light bulb on a thermostat, and I am going to get a uv bulb for more cleansing. The trailers are in a large shop so the temp control is no problem. This is enough for now I am looking forward to getting into the forum and information sharing...

You mean if there is so many contams the trailer itself turns toxic ? Or why?

I'm sure he means legal problems...

Well that sounds like an awesome grow setup, it also reminds me of the Trailer Park Boys. Just to have enough climate controlled space for two trailers make me jealous.
The first time I ever grew was in the early 2000’s on rice flower with dumb humidity chambers, pop bottle accumulators, and all that bullshit. Things are so much easier these days. It’s still quite rewarding though. I’ve mostly moved onto gourmets, Oysters and Lions Mane are a lot more family friendly haha. I do love it, I’m much better at mushrooms than I ever was at plants.
-------------------- Enjoy the process of your search without succumbing to the pressure of the result. A Dorito is pizza, change my mind. Bank and Union with The Shroomery at the Zuul on The internet - now with %'s and things I’m sorry it had to be me.
