Found in the backyard in the Midwest on the grass near shade. Doesn't have a noticeable smell. Could it be a psylocibe species, star pinkgill, or something else? I'm not sure if the white one is the same species as the rest since I didn't pick them myself. Really don't want this in the backyard if psylocibe as there are small kids. Thanks

Conocybe apala and possibly panaeolus cinctulus. Psilocybes are nothing to worry about. Chances of a child finding enough for a trip and ingest them are small. Poisonous mushrooms would worry me more.

True. Now that you mention it, the brown ones could also be panaeolus foenisecii as well. The white one really looks a lot like it's conocybe apala, which is poisonous, so I'll look around to see if there's any more around. Thanks for the quick help!

Yes, panaeolus foenesecii is just as likely. Take a spore print!

The brown ones look like they could possibly be Pan Cinc but could just as likely be a Pan Foe. Could be also be Psathyrella. We need a spore print to see more.

Nope. Not a psathyrella. Panaeolus, but I think foenesecii or olivaceus is more likely than cinctulus.

looks like a mixed collection of Panaeolus and Psathyrella, Psathyrella is the one that has a lined cap margin and bright white stem that is fragile.
