First Ghost Pepper Harvest! 3

Also a few Tabasco and a Time Bomb. Got Thai and Jalapeno coming in now
the fuck do I do with all of this?
I made a large can of salsa with a single ghost pepper, a single thai pepper, and two tabasco peppers and it's the hottest fucking salsa I have ever had. 4-5 small bites is all I can handle before I am sweating bullets

Freeze them and you should be set on ghost peppers for a long time.

What about throwing them on the dehydrator?

I went in with no expectations but i definitely didnt expect a single plant to produce this many peppers. No experience with all of this. I did zero research i just threw that shit in a pot in march and it exploded. Performed better than anything else i planted

And a lot more still ripening on it! The really hot peppers seem to love the climate here. Got a reaper plant flowering now too

Smoke them and dehydrate, then grind or powder them up. Smoked ghost chili flakes/powder on any somewhat sweet dish (like general gao's, bbq ribs etc) is one of my favorite combos.
Hot sauce is also really easy to make some great flavors. Work outside though, I've literally gassed my house out multiple times by dehydrating and even just blending super hots

Dude totally dehydrate them and grind it into powder. You can also make hot sauce with it. Smoke the peppers then have smoked ghost pepper spice which is kick ass for bbq sauces.

Make some sauce. Like different chili sauces. Those super hots can be hard to find use. Have growed them. Love the aroma in some of theme lika naga morich. But the use and dosage can be difficult. Plus most of the times I don't want super hot food. They served they point when wd from opiates but for example this year I go in maybe range of like 50k-100k scovilles on the strains. Mild ones are easier and I like to use lot of chili while cooking.
Freezing is 1 option for me. 2 drying and making powder. But to use superhots easily make sauce. Put lots of other things like paprika, ananas, mango there to balanced mix. And with ghost peppers you easily make sauces for year etc with even small harvest.

I got around a 12 ghost peppers off my plant yesterday. Its my first time growing too. Leaves are a bit light, I think she needs more nitrogen. I'm a bit scared of it. I can be a weenie eating cayennes, which are 50,000-80,000 scoville Ghosts are 800,000 to 1,000,000 scoville!
I'm thinking of freezing a few and dehydrating the rest

I all ways used to sample every strain during harvest simply by eating. Naga for example burns 3 times: when eaten. Afterwards in stomach and prober ring of fire agony next morning taking dump

I like to eat jalepenos raw with almost any meal. Thats about as spicy as I like it. Unless I am making salsa I will toss in a habenero or two. I don't know what you would need ghosts for. Maybe put one in like a bucket of salsa? lol.

Hamburgers made with superhots can be really good actually if that is your thing. When made right you eat 1/3 or half of the burger before the chili kicks in. And as I said some of those superhots have aromas and flavors the mild ones don't have. Lots of fruity tastes for example.

Are ghost peppers papery? I've never had them fresh.

Made a salsa just earlier today, ingredients: fresh squeezed lime juice, cilantro, onion, Serrano & Habanero, and pieces of pineapple. It went very well with steak & quesadillas. so good.

They're thinner than other peppers, not exactly papery
