Mycelium from cloning, in PF jars

Hello there!
Is there any noticable difference in total yield of normal PF jars, as oposed to PF jars shot with mycelium taken from cloning? The colonization speed of the last , is amazing!!!!

Isolates (or clones) should perform better than multi-spore...

yield is increased by almost half and colonization time is decreased by 2 or more days, according to someone I know who's tried both...

interesting. While colonization time undoubtedly decreases I haven't seen any evidence that yields are boosted. Granted, I haven't performed any conclusive tests for this but I would not be surprised to discover it is true.
Colonization speed increase is easily explained by the lack of competing "strains" but what explanation could be offered for increased yields?
Pinsets from clones are far more even in every facet (pin appearance, surface area utilised, fruitbody maturation, etc)
One might surmise that since the singular "strain" equates to singular environmental requirements the yield would be better given that the cloned fruits were grown in optimal conditions next to a multi-"strain" comparison.

yields were increased through selection of the most vigorous growing invitro fruits cloned over several generations
