I know nothing about magic mushrooms except I eat them every once in awhile lol but I fund these in a horse pasture the last few days. Panaeolus cyanescens?? I'm probably way off lol Habitat: Where does it grow? pasture, S.C, southern coast(almost Georgia) , sea level. What does it grow on? Horse dung, in pasture
Gills: Color, see pic
Stem: 2"-4", white, see pic.
Cap: Diameter, white'ish-tan, spherical?, concave.
Spore print color:working on it Very important!
Bruising: Blackish blue? See pic.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, smells like a mushroom? lol anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Nope. You got Pan antillarum and NOT Pan cyans.. however, you may hunt in the same spot and MIGHT find cyans.

I agree they are Panaeolus antillarum, you will not find Panaeolus cyanescens growing directly from horse manure in my opinion, in my 35yrs of doing this I have never observed Pan. cyanescens directly in horse manure but I have seen them grow from compost with horse manure that comes from cleaning out the stalls.
Here are the active mushrooms that have been found in South Carolina
South Carolina Gymnopilus luteus Panaeolus cinctulus Psilocybe cubensis Psilocybe caerulipes Psilocybe caerulescens (rare)
Here's the link where I got this from: https://www.shroomery.org/8461/Which-psilocybin-mushrooms-grow-wild-in-my-area

Thank you all for your quick response, very much appreciated!! I WILL be spending more time browsing the forum and hopefully becoming a little more familiar with the species. I will keep an eye on the compost pile where I dump the manure and our organic material
