Dude you're set! I need to find a spot I can get to more often. I want to find them in Coweta. Right now I just have one spot and I can only get to it once a week or two. And when I do get to it I'm on a lunch break and can only spend a half hour there. Last week it was empty. I think it might be hunted by other people.

Panaeolus cinctulus or olivaceus according to Doc9151.
Looks like my goats are good for something after all! Just kidding, they're good for lots of things but this is a surprise bonus. Guess I'll be hunting the paddock for more!
I’m very surprised we dont see more Panaeolus on this thread, or the ones from past years. They are claimed to be abundant but maybe not many people look for them? They intrigue me though, I want to find some now.
That's because there are better choices, I'll take weilli or cubes over cinctulus or olivaceus any day, Panaeolus cyanescens are the only quality Panaeolus that grow in Georgia.

Im so friggin grateful. Most of last year I traveled all over to try and find a good spot. I was convinced for whatever reason I wouldn't find them in my area. All for me to find them fruiting within a 5 minute drive of me. Just lucky

Probably also because they don't look nearly as pretty as weilii or even the weak gyms. Plus you've gotta spore print all of them and it takes a lot.

Found these gyms today. My first ever active find. Judging by the reading I’ve done about them, I probably don’t have enough to bother eating/making tea. There are about 25g fresh. Maybe I’ll try them anyways and see what happens.

I love you guys. Your good wishes paid off! Found another one when letting out the mini wolf.
I feel like the universe is really making me work for these. For some reason I’ve only found these little Weilii when I’ve gotten my shit together. I know a few years ago when I first started hunting and diving deep into this culture (for lack of a better term) I couldn’t find dick out in the wild. It’s like you really have to earn that contact.

Nice Kawi! I found some grassy boys in Gwinnett park this morning. They're so much cleaner than the specimens I find growing out of that red clay. Some of these guys were really tucked in there, some even growing sideways.

Those are some Beauties!! I’ve yet to find any in my parks over here on my half of Gwinnett. Hopefully I’ll run across some after today’s storm.

Yeah man I think this weeks a good time to do some looking. This is my first time seeing them here at a park I come to pretty much everyday to walk my dog. They were growing right next to storm drain.

Bett! I’ll have the afternoon off tomorrow. So I’m going to try and get out there. Do Weilii always dry to such an incredibly lightweight? I feel like the two I’ve found so far have turned into tissue paper 😂

Y'all making me jealous with those pretty ones. I'm stuck on a route today in the perimeter. I'm letting my trainee drive so I can't really hunt...

All this rain and all I can find are 3 gallon bags worth of Chants (granted I do eat the hell out of these), a million lacts, and a forest floor full of wine caps and coral mushrooms I've been recently driving up to Lake Lanier and looking around there, granted its an hour and a half drive so can only try every now and then. Anybody had luck in that area? The Paulding area i'm around never gave me much luck so been trying out new places.

Maybe others here have tried there. I haven't. But I can say just keep hunting and enjoy nature. The shrooms will reveal themselves when they're supposed to.
