Dosage advice for newbies please

Hi everyone,
I have been out hunting and found my first subs (positively identified on the ID forum).
Unfortunately my drying process was less than ideal. I had the shrooms on a rack in front of a fan heater on and off for about 3 days. They are now dry but with a tiny bit of bend still in them (so not cracker dry) and are stored in an air tight jar.
I used the dosage calculator and set the psilocybin multiplication to 0.3 as I figured they would have deteriorated a fair bit over the 3 days.
I'm trying to reach a level 3 trip and the calculator suggested 2.9grams.
I am wary of wasting the shrooms and not feeling much or alternatively having too strong of a first trip and having a bad experience.
If anyone has any thoughts they would be welcome - thanks

You can get them even drier now by putting them into a desiccant chamber - get some of those silica gel beads, but make sure they don’t touch the drying mushrooms. You’ll be able to get down to 10 - 15% relative humidity; not “cracker dry” but will store in sealed jars for years.
Good luck DJ Ed

Can you get a dehydrator? You can dry your fruits and sweet fruits and jerky and...etc.
It's a solid purchase. Other than that the silica packets will help. Try get them cracker dry. You can place them on some sort of paper and continue to dry them as you were but that depends on your local climate.

I agree with the dehydrator crowd.
I get them super dry in a dehydrator and then I make homemade desiccant packs from calcium carbonate, paper towel and elastics.
Then I store everything in heavy duty plastic or glass jars with the desi-pack. Loves me long time.

When i started i started low and worked up
But to each their own
I wasnt looking for anything in particular, certain level of experience.
For me i was curious and slowly going in and seeing what happens worked well for me
Went from small doses to medium to large over the course of a few years
So transformational
Enjoy
