Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc. Well fertilized lawn, shady area, northern grass blend Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc. Brown, dense Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc. White, lines running up stem are very hard to see unlike pan foe fine lines run straight and do not twist like the ones of other lawn pans. Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc. Shaped like a witch hat, somewhat reselmbles the caps of APE Spore print color: Very important!
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any. Possible faint blue bruising at base of stipe Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
Unique caps, grabbed my attention.

cut the stem off as close to the gills as possible and then place gills down on white paper or aluminum foil. cover with a cup or something and let sit for a minimum of 2hrs but up to 36 hrs to get a proper spore print. once you have successfully obtained a good spore print look at it in natural light. Look for Jet Black, Brown, brownish purple, and blackish purple prints. post a picture of the print and state what colors if any you observe in the print. if your mushrooms are soaking wet pat the gills with a paper towel and let drain on the towel before starting the spore print or water can pool under the cap.
they do resemble Pan. foenisecii but cinctulus, foenisecii and olivaceus can be easily confused with one another.

Unfortunately good prints may not be an option for these. I tried to keep em moist but it is hot as hell out here right now and they are already drying up to nothing.

Put them out like you would to spore print them and put a damp paper towel on top. Theyll absorb some moisture and drop spores, I've done this with other mushrooms and it seemed to word fairly decent.

That's some cool looking pans! I'm leaning towards foenesecii as well.

I have had success by placing a single drop off water on the cap.
