Hi all,
I am new to this community and my interest for mushrooms and fungi is growing rapidly. This is my first post, so please take it easy if I make a mistake! I would like to make an id request, all mushrooms pictured were picked from 3 different patches, all within the same area, and are believed to be the same species, although I would just like some confirmation. (Please excuse some of the bad quality photos, I need a new camera!)
Habitat: The mushrooms were found growing in a council bed next to a walking track located in south eastern Australia. They were all found growing on wood chips or from the soil below.
Gills: Since I am a beginner please check the images provided, however I believe that the gills are a darker brown on the more matured mushrooms (caps pictured from patch #1 and #3) and the younger mushrooms appear to be a lighter brown/tan colour (cap from patch #2). I am led to believe that the gills are free on all of the mushrooms (please refer to the picture of the cap cut in half from patch #3).
Stem: The stems of all the mushrooms appeared to be thin in comparison to the size of the cap. They are all a chalky white colour, however, on some of the older mushrooms, they appeared to be darkening and dirty. there is a small hollow that runs within the stem of the mushrooms (seen in pictures where the cap has been cut from the stem).
Cap: All the caps were a variation of gold or tan, some being darker than others (I assume the older the mushroom the darker the cap). While most of the mushrooms from patches #1 and #2 are spherical, it is interesting to note that the caps from patch #3 are much more conical. I am not sure if this is because of the age of the mushroom? They do appear to be more mature.
Spore print color: Please see the photos attached, but I believe that the prints are a brown with possibly a touch of purple.
Bruising: Some of the mushrooms appeared to be bruising blue, some more than others, with the oldest mushrooms appearing to have the most bruising. Please see the labeled photo from patch #1 to see some nice bruising on one of the mushrooms.
Patch #1:
(The mushroom above in the photo just before the prints has the touches of blue I was discussing earlier!)
Patch #2:

Patch #3:

Environment:

Thank you very much for your time, it is greatly appreciated.

Can't see the photo's from the first patch.
Patch 2 & 3 appear to be p-subs. Nice find and welcome to the shroomery.
Double check they all bruise blue.
I'm sure a second opinion will ease your mind.

I appreciate your opinion, but a second one will definitely put my mind at ease. Also, are you able to see photos from the first patch now? Cheers
