After an ID for what i think might be Psilocybe Papuana but i could be completely wrong.
I know my subs well but am currently looking into the dung loving and other species and am not as familiar with them.
Found in state forest growing next to/from wombat shit.

Ah cheers Nickoloxious. Its hard to find much info on Psilocybe Papuana I don't think they grow from dung anyway so you're probably right.

Could it be Panaeolus fimicola (Panaeolus Ater)? Any other opinions?

I agree that it looks like something in the Panaeolus papillionaceus group, is that dung it's growing from?

Looks like panaeolus papilionaceus var. parvisporus, formerly known as panaeolus retirugis.
