Found these in my pasture this afternoon. In an area where seasoned goat manure is within Bermuda grass and old hay.
Sorry no situation pics. I was in a hurry.
Spore prints look jet black.

I see a dark band on the top left cap, I'm gonna put in a vote for panaeolus cinctulus. Not to be confused with the artist previously known as cinctulus that grow in lawns.

I agree with Panaeolus cinctulus or olivaceus
edit: it hasn't been proven yet that cinctulus doesn't grow in lawns, it's possible that they are an undescribed species, misidentified species or the real deal.

How do I tell if they're cinctulus or olivaceus? Is that told through microscopic examination?
What's the average potency of these compared to other actives found in Georgia?

yes, microscopy is needed to determine the difference, cinctulus is pretty weak when compared to Psilocybe species but don't underestimate them. There are no known toxic or poisonous black spored mushrooms so eating them won't kill you.
