Actual mushroom says pan for. Spore prints got me confused. Am I tripping or are they purple?

Foes can have purple/brown spores. That Panaeolus genus is quite confusing
Cool spore print smiley, pskept Out of curiosity, what did you do the spore prints on?

Panaeolus foenisecii
edit that solid white stipe rules out cinctulus, but there is an active Panaeolus growing in grass that resembles Pan. cinctulus, Panaeolus olivaceus is easily confused with foenisecii without microscopy.

I don't know brother, maybe it's something in those Tennessee mountains affecting your Georgia mind.

Thanks. The print is on the porch beside where they were growing. I was having some fun with my kids. They ask what they are and I say LBMs but my son is getting into fungi and less happy with LBM as an answer more and more.
Thanks for checking it out everyone!
