A gardener friend is doing some work clearing out a garden and has sent me these photos, any help IDing is appreciated
She said she has potted up some of the soil it was growing in and taken it home

Thicker stems wavy caps could it be a Psilocybe cyanescens?

I've never seen subs that have caps like that. And as far as I'm aware they don't grow in NSW. Therefore you should be sceptical they're subs, I would recommend doing a spore print to confirm.

I've seen some funky subs, they are definitely active though I'm wondering if they are p. subs or p. cyans
Although, I don't know if psilocybe cyanescens are found in Australia (i remember reading conflicting posts on here)
And they definitely grow in NSW
