These things are EVERYWHERE

Went out this morning and mushrooms are popping up everywhere. Somehow I keep finding these - super annoying because from the car they look like subs - my distance vision is a bit shit eh. There is loads of them popping up!



Anyone know what they are?

Found massive patches of them again today - do these grow alongside subs (I’m in NZ)

I'm thinking Tubaria furfuracea, a gill shot or spore print would be helpful

Thanks for the info mate, I found massive patches of them again today also, like what the fuck they are everywhere, and I haven’t found any subs alongside them. They are taking the piss! Are they normally in such abundance?

Definitely L.ceres.

Yes they are super abundant in woodchips in Adelaide and subs are rare in the suburbs.
