interesting fungi pic's...
    #2677276 - 05/14/04 09:27 AM (19 years, 10 months ago)

i just thought someone would enjoy the pics not really looking for an id since i did not pick it and would have no idea how to get a spore print from that thing. the stems are covered in little holes, and it looks like it grew from an egg (not sure what you call the type of mushroom that does that ) because there is a fleshy membrane on what i guess would be the cap, (which is slimey and does not smell very plesant) and part of it at the base of the stem. if anyone would like too throw out some suggestions by all means go a head if i could find my field guide i would guess but its been m.i.a. since i went to ocala.
later.

Those little stinkers poke their heads up in the mulch garden around my apartment complex and in the mulch beds at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

I can always smell them when I walk by. The smell is distinct, similar to bleach or semen. HAHA yah that is a good name, ...phallus impudicus
