 Who's Gonna Get A PS5 or Xbox One Two?

With the release of the next gen consoles just around the corner, I was wondering...….who plans to buy one when they are released?
What system are you planning to get?
and
Will you get it straight away or will you wait awhile?
Me, until recently, I was planning to buy an Xbox 2 within the first 6 or so months of it's release but, I recently got a $3000 (au) gaming pc and I've kind of gone off the Xbox One X that I currently own, so I've decided that I might pass on the next Xbox console and just focus more on pc gaming. I'll still keep the Xbox, and get games that are better suited to playing with a controller, and i'll get first person shooters (and any other style of games) that are better suited to a keyboard and mouse, for my pc.
Btw, if the PS5 is backwards compatible (all older PS systems) then I think I will get one (when it's cheaper) so I can play all my PS1, PS2 and PS3 games that I've got. That would be cool  .
What about you, what's your plan?

I just bought an Xbox One to keep me busy for the next few months and then I will buy the PS5 - probably not at launch but a few months later.. probably February or March.
I've got a lot of games to catch up on so I think I'll be busy enough with great video games until then. I've never owned an Xbox so I thought I'd change things up a bit plus I figured it would be a waste to get a PS4 now since the PS5 is backwards compatible which means once I buy the PS5 I still have access to all those PS4 games I'd be missing out on at the moment.

I think you'll like the xbox, it's pretty good. I just hope you don't mind buying batteries from time to time.

Yeah, I thought about that. I decided to go with a wired controller rather than wireless for myself, and a few wireless controllers for the occasional times I have company.

I'm going to buy both systems. They're actually surprisingly powerful this time. I believe everything will be digital and streaming after this generation so I'm going to buy both and enjoy the last true gaming generation. The ps5 will have the better exclusives and the xbox series x will have slightly better graphics with 3rd party games and game pass. If you already have a gaming pc theres no reason to get a xbox because it's exclusives will be on the PC.

I plan on getting both but the im getting the ps5 first because of the games i mainly play are sony exclusives. Both systems will be amazing the Xbox will have more power but the ps5 will have a faster ssd.

I'm not sure on this one. Over the last couple of years I've lost my interest in gaming. So I'm thinking I probably won't get a new console (which would have been the PS5 as I've been a Sony person my whole life and my friends all roll with Sony).
But I'm still torn because I love NHL and the fact that Demon Souls is being remade for PS5. So I'm still in the process of thinking about it.
