Regarding inoculation technique

Greetings.
Fellow growers lend me your ears, Say I isolate tissue from a fruiting body under sterile conditions, but still tissue, if I drop it in a sterilized grain as well, shouldn't it start colonizing the jar?
I haven't tried this yet but I suspect it should work.
Cheers

Yes but you are playing with fire by not taking it to agar first before you go to grain with it. Im sure it could be done but I imagine it wouldn't be suggested.

Yes, this is just a side project. I know that it is possible to isolate tissue from inside a mushroom that is contaminant free. But most everyone who works with agar also knows this. Besides other advantages like assisted selection agar helps tremendously in detecting and containing any eventual contamination and I will always work with. Thanks

It could work yes. The virgin tissue inside fruits should be clean - provided you tear the mushroom open first instead of slicing into it (this pushes contams from the outside into the fruit).
I would never grow this way though. Often when I take clones I still have to make a transfer or two because bacteria or mold will be present on the plate. It happens
