Found these along a trail, Hundreds of them, ID help?
    #26782197 - 06/25/20 01:58 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.

Sloping side of trail in debris of pine/leaves/small twigs and branches. Looks to be growing in soil/clay. Located in Georgia

Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.

Whitish-brown gills attached at stem

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.

Brown stem fairly thin but young mushrooms so could grow larger.

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Brown with small indent in the middle, sometimes nipple like but mostly concave/wavy appearance

Spore print color:
Very important!

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Very large amount in a very small area

I was thinking they look like that genus. Any idea which one specifically? I'm going to go there within the next few days after the rain stops to see if they have grown out a little more.
