Hello, this is my first time growing so i dont have much clue yet... i had 4 jars of cubes, around 30% colonized. They all were made from one batch of grain so water contents should be same. It shook em up and the myc dissapeared in all (which is normal i think). Then after a day i saw it regrowing again all over the glass. I had to leave for 5 days so i couldnt watch the progress, but when i came back i had 2 jars completely colonized and 2 with very litte myc:

I wonder how this could be? i didnt see any contam in any jars (but again i am no pro) If you need higher res pictures let me now, but i would love to find out why this happened. Also do you think the colonized jar is ready for tub? thanks!

How did you inoculate the jars?
Agar? Spore syringe?
Likely those jars are contaminated (bacteria) and are no good.
The other jars may or may not be contaminated but I would spawn the one pictured for sure

I used syringe to grain since it was my very first time and i only could get syringes. I had problems with syringe to agar, which took forever to produce only one agar dish (no contams tho, just not germinating). I have a single hole on the top of the lid with 2 layers of micro tape. I used that hole for inoculation, everything sterile and heat treated syringe ofc. Should i just wait with these jars and see? is there any chance for them to just be late to the party? Since I dont have much control over the genes with syringe to grain... Like when i inoculated, it tooke some jars a longer time to to germ and colonize... Thanks anyways

If they didnt even bounce back after 5 days, they are definitely toast.
Syringe to grain is likely the reason for the contamination plus MP tape with a hole in it wont do shit as a grain filter. That other jar may look white but that doesnt mean it isnt contaminated.
I'd still spawn it but dont expect much and dont give up on agar. Much better in the long run

Seems like you are making a few mistakes with your tek, which I will discuss as Im a newbie myself and learned a lot. But first thing first, shaking jars is a good indicator of whether a jar is contaminated or not. The logic is that jars that dont recover as well are most likely contaminated with something (e.g, shake testing jars for recovery). So you are correct to assume that the jars that didnt recover so well are contaminated.
Now to your "mistakes". syringe to grain, avoid it as much as you possibly can. Some growers in this forum live in some places where getting agar is virtually impossible. You have the fortune to already having agar at home and probably some plates. This is your best chance at getting clean mycelium moving forward. The fact that some of your plates did not even germinate could be due to a bunch of reasons. Maybe you didnt shake your syringe, maybe you didn't cool it before squirting spores onto the plate, etc. Do as many plates as you can and work inside a SAB and keeping in mind clean tek. It may take time, but your grains will be contaminated less often and colonize faster. So in the long term you will save time and money. Also perhaps even more important, you will know what to expect from your grows. As it is you have a 50% chance of your grains even colonizing, let alone fruiting.
You ask how it could be that two of your jars are bacterial and not the others. The other two may have some bacterial contam in it too. And it could either be due to short PC time, or too few micropore tape (in the forums people recommend at least 4 layers if using micropore). But probably, its from the syringes. We know from experience that clean syringes don't exist.
