Can't get ahold of 23q pressure cooker. Next best bet?

Hey all. I am gathering my supplies and I cannot find a 23q pressure cooker anywhere online. Neither Presto or AA can be found. They are all sold out, or are sold by shoddy companies that have terrible reviews. What are some smaller, affordable pressure cookers you guys would recommend? Perhaps I could run two smaller PCs at a time?
Thanks fellas

I saw something called a Mirro 22qt at a little hardware store the other day. I think I’ve seen those mentioned on here as well. They might not be quite up to the presto but it should still work and fit 7-10 qt jars depending on the shape...that’s if you can find one of course. Decent chance.

You could go to an actual store. I saw them in stock at three different stores yesterday. They all were 99 dollars. Where are you located in the world?

7 jars I had one, but got rid of it, the lid lock got messed up. So it wouldn't hold steam, it would pour out steam. I needed 2 gallons of water to run 2hr grain runs. Id really try to find a presto, they are a good pc for the money, and they hold 10 jars.

I picked one up at Ace Hardware not to long ago..they had an 18 qt preston in stock as well. I would call around to some local shops and see what they have in stock.
Otherwise try and find one used on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace.

I just saw a 23qt Presto at an Ace Hardware store this last weekend. I'd check there if you've got one near you.

Honestly, any pressure cooker will work, the Presto 23qt is suggested because price vs size is unbeatable. If you can find an 8qt PC at a second-hand store or something, that'll work too. You will just have to do multiple runs or use smaller-than-quart jars. Instant pots work as well.

There's a bunch of 23qt Presto's on Facebook marketplace...I've seen them as low as $30 and in good condition. I've also seen some slamming deals on All Americans there too. I would def look used if you are having trouble finding one new.

Pretty sure mine is the 8qt, i bought it mostly to cook pot roast/corned beef. I thought it was too small and almost bought the 23qt but it seems to be perfect for smaller grows. I can cook up 4 or 5 pint jars at a time, 1 or 2 500ml agar bottles or 4 jars containing 16 HG agar plates. 2 pints of spawn per shoe box, so thats 2.5 boxes per PC batch. Think i'm too lazy to go bigger anyway.

Man just saw some reviews on amazon and people complaining Mirro blowing up. Saw some pictures. I dunno. I am searching for a PC as well and after some research it seems the best one right now for me would be the Presto 01784 Induction. But its sold out everywhere. Plus I'm in Europe so it's triple hard to get one. Feels bad.

Been scouring the webs, Facebook market doesn't have jack...
It's either go with a smaller 8 qt for $50-$60 or the EXPLODING MIRRO HA! a whopping 22qt for $101...
I'd love a nice 23qt Presto but they seem to be sold out everywhere they are listed ~$100(called a bunch of local ACE Hardware stores) and can't find one for sub ~$200ish, that's nuts.
Amazon's 23qt PRESTO Refurb isn't available new/only refurbished. Guess everyone read Bod's tek like me and bought em all. Well I may go with the Mirro or wait and hope some more Presto's get made. Maybe Coronavirus has stopped the factory that makes these... Any other suggestions? I'm in no hurry

It's a mix of the season and corona preppers I think. I used an 8qt for a while when i first started. If its shaped like mine was it should hold 3 qt jars which sucks but is doable. Maybe that could hold you over until a presto becomes available. Can you order one from walmart or somewhere to where you'll get it first dibs when they come up?
The mirro just look cheap to me and I'm not surprised to hear they might blow up lol. That's the only one I still see on the shelf at this hardware store nearby.

There is an 8qt presto PC on Amazon right now for under 60usd. Probably not ideal but it's cheap.
Took a quick look at eBay and there is a "once used" presto 23qt PC for 150usd plus shipping. A little pricey for used but I guess jumbo pressure cookers are a hot commodity right now.

that $33 one's not bad.. But I got a bunch of 32oz BALL Mason jars... I don't know if they'll fit... Maybe closer to winter the Presto will be back... I'll hold off a little while, can always buy sterile rye berry bags and prep my own coir bricks...
I'm on my second grow and both used pre-made grow bags, looking to perhaps branch out.
