Cannabis leaves browning

I'm just getting started and trying to learn and get everything set right. Just recently transferred some plants to DWC. One of them had brown spots on a leaf before. After transfer, a couple of them have this problem. All looks the same.
I'm suspecting a pH problem, water may be too cold, and I may have added too much nutrient; I'm using cocotek a b and ramped up to 15mL of both to each bucket. It could also be from bugs. We have some kind of flies or gnats in the room where these were seeded bc of other indoor plants.

Seedlings right? And if your doing hydro I don't think it could be too much water. The new growth looks OK it looks like the browning is the original foliage and cotyledon. Which would be normal. Unless I'm not seeing something else. What is your pH ppm and h2o temp o2 level?

Yeah these are all from seed. None of the new growth is brown at all. The leaf tips are a little yellow though. I need to get the tools to take readings from the nutrient solution. I do have an aquarium pH test kit somewhere.

Right on. Stay the course and don't worry about that browning/defoliation. All those parameters are important to know when doing a hydro grow however. Those seedlings do look a bit whispy. What kind of light are they getting?

Before I went and got my current lights, I had a cheap shitty LED bulb, the kind that fit into a socket. That and they were just in the windowsill. I think that's why they got a little wispy. They are starting to beef up. I have two Mars hydro 300w units.

I have very little experience with led but am very interested in learning. I'm looking forward to seeing how your grow goes! Don't trip about the defoliation from your seedlings it's totally normal.

Oh side note I'm a fellow angler! I'm trying to start a fishing thread in the hunting forum. If you've got some blue gill porn show it off! Happy growing friend.

Thanks! Nothing like a good panfish fry. It's been a while since I've gone fishing. We only have small bluegill out here. Lots of northern and walleye instead.
So my plants all have 3+ nodes now, but they are still pretty spindly bc they did not get much light from the start. The mainline is beefy on all of them though. I am considering fimming or topping. Should I wait a bit longer for more foliage or just go for it? I have 3ft more of vertical grow space.

3 nodes is usually when I start training/topping.
