Was listening to a podcast last week that was talking about matcha. I guess it has more theanine than regular tea because it's grown in shaded areas. I guess the legit stuff isn't as bitter as the cheaper stuff because the theanine makes it sweeter too. Theanine is what supposedly makes the tea non-jittery. Thinking about buying some matcha.

I bought these green tea bags with matcha once a few years ago, then like a week after I finished it I was in the gourmet chocolate shop in town and they had tubes of actual matcha, the label just had the name of the store and underneath it said "White Rhino Horn Matcha" so I grabbed one to test out, when I showed my gf she thought it was ground up rhino horns, but she always thinks stuff like that so it didnt surprise me, but what did was when I showed my mom, she thought the same thing, when I showed he she angrily asked me if that was rhino horns lol

I had a yagé ceremony on Saturday, spent yesterday recovering. It really showed me how much of who I was as a person was built upon past childhood traumas and trying to mask and avoid those traumas, and just how much self healing I need to go through to truly be there for those people in my life who I love the most. I feel like sleeping all day again today but I think we are headed over to Jess’s parents in a bit. I’d let to take Jess’s dad to the next ceremony, I think it would be very important for him at this place in his life. In other new I’ve got some tasty tasty orange juice and a bagel. I hope you’re all well and know it’s never to late to heal.

Seriously, the morning coffee on the way to work is a guaranteed cigarette for me. Every single work day. I go many days where that's my only cigarette. But I have to have one with that cup.
Aye, it is indeed a nice symbiosis. I have a stick or twig with the morning lapsang souchong myself. Tobacco has a way ov habituating acts which jive with the ritual and mild spatial tune-up surrounding its intake. I cant read a book without a cigar.
Life is beautiful. A steamy hot day yet one in which my heart happily smoulders like rosewood coals glowing deep ruby red in an inviolable hearth. Ruby red, or perhaps the pink ov the sauce topping delish gnocchi steaming under my nose as we sat outside at dinner last night, our table serving as a secluded oasis amidst the masked strangers walking past, the raging thot seated near, and the mild fender bender that occurred on the corner. A happy place that dissolves the trials in giggles and smiles. Beautiful is life.
I wish i had the ambition and time to write but possess the Aquarian curse ov flickering inspiration. I've been in e-mail correspondence with a legendary writer and poet lately after sharing with him a story that happened to me in '14. He strongly believes that i should write a book and has paid me some dear compliments. I do'nt think i could ever do it, but at least it's such a true honor to hear such a remarkable writer say that he thinks i should!

Meat is gone. He stopped eating for me. It wasn't long after I made the decision to put him to sleep.
And he did. He relaxed and just went right to sleep.
He was ready to rest.
I dunno if it made it easier but I'm glad he was ready for it. The dog would have fought to the very last because that was his muley nature.
My dad picked him up and put him outside one last time and he wagged his tail so happy he could be a good boy and poop outside.
He was fucking dying, blind, deaf, severely malnourished and lethargic, and he held it in. Because he was a good boy. That dog's willpower and benevolence will never stop amazing me.
I'm glad I could make the journey a little easier on him but goddammit I'm going to miss him so much.

I think it was really good though that the writing was on the wall and that y'all knew it was coming. That way you had a few more weeks to spend with him to say goodbye. And it's pretty obvious that you were very fortunate to have such a great companion in your life (and for him vice versa).
Rest in peace, Meat.

Yeah you're right I'm glad it wasn't a shock to any of us. Glad that thanks to coronavirus I could stay home and take care of him.
I took the day off. Trying to find energy to face the 100 degree day and get out of the house. Haven't been out much the last 2 weeks and I could use a good long walk.
It's actually 102...

thanks guys
I'm glad my dad was there. We've talked alot about the cycle of life. All things break down, all things eventually cease to be what they once were, but nothing we know of in our universe ceases to exist. It just changes form.
We talked about people that have their pets taxidermied and how they likely aren't happy with that. You're not preserving the part that matters. The soul, the spirit, the energy of life... whatever you want to call it, is already gone and in the process of taking on a new form.
And knowing how chill he was I know Meat will be happy with whatever that is.
Or at least that's what I think.

That's just about 39C. I might have learned metric measurements if... they were used for just about anything. But I think in imperial terms and need to convert. And I do that so seldom I need to use google.
Ugh. This country has ruined me.
Cooling down a bit so probably gonna head out after getting something to eat. I can get a few hours in.

when I was like 12, my mom used to be a delivery driver, one of the places she delivered was supplies to a veterinarian, She became very good friends with him and the staff, he sent his cat to be taxidermied, then he sadly died in a house fire, the taxadermied cat arrived at the vet clinic shortly after he died, the staff were super confused what to do with it, like do they send it to his remaining family or what
