Dementia is a bitch.
I've learned with my grandma, that when in doubt, music that she likes(and used to listen to a lot when she was young) kind of gets those neurons firing a bit and brings her back a bit. Simple card games like War were good for a long time too. She's getting closer and closer to end stage alheimzers seeing as heart failure, kidney failure, copd, and covid can't get her..it'll probably be the thing that finally does, unfortunately.

Peanut butter filled pretzels are da bomb! Having some now and rehydrating with some Pierrier.
Just catching up on some yard work today-- cut the grass and changed the water in the hot tub. I've got the tub turned down to 96F cuz it's so damn hot here. Feels weird sitting in a hot tub when it's 33 degrees celsius. Drinking beer while doing so makes it seem less weird.
Hope you're all having a spectacular summer.

I keep saying I'm gonna stop messing with kratom over my keyboard and yet I keep doing it. Maybe a cover would be a good idea.
I keep my kratom on a low shelf in my room and I only wipe it down once a month, theres a constant green dust covering it
and one time I got left alone for an hour in my grandmothers house and I was sitting on a recliner that had a white blanket on it, I went to do a toss n wash and spilt the bag over the white blanket, I tried to wipe it off with a wet rag but it was stained with a green blotch, when everyone else got back I told my grandmother I took the blanket to sit in the back yard and got a grass stain on it lol
Dude I'd rather spill a bowl of keif than a tablespoon of kratom.
It's so fine it sticks in everything. I was grinding my own for a while bc of that.

Walmart has these pretzel rolls. They're like somewhere between a soft bagel and a pretzel and fuck they're amazing.
I salt them up and could eat the whole bag.
Also I prefer hot tubs in winter, preferably with snow on the ground.
Used to have a family friend that would let me use their cottage up in the mountains and it was so fucking tranquil to climb in with that crisp clean mountain air and lean back and look up at the stars.
Still miffed they sold the place.
But I have my own land in the mountains so... guess I need to learn how to operate a hot tub. Well maybe a wood heated hot tub since I'm not sure about electricity...
And they look legit
Probably wouldn't use a wood frame though. That sounds like it could be a ton of problems since wood + water = bad things
For that matter wood + fire can = bad things...

Yep, hot tubs are much better in the snow.
I prefer winter, sunrise soak with a coffee or winter, sunset soak with a pint.

my gf's stepmom has a hot tub, I used to like drinking beer in it 7 years ago,any time of the year, but since I stopped drinking pretty much I find it kinda boring, but its a very large hot tub,I think theres only 4 seats but could easily fit 6 -8 people in it and even has these really strong jets you can turn on and swim on the spot against them

Shit luckily none of my family has ever had it but I have thought about it a lot and if someone I cared for ever got it I would be devastated. My heart goes out to you and your family and anyone else here that has or is going thru it

Man. The vet hospital has had my dog for 5 hours.
If they can't figure out why he isn't eating that's okay. He's 16. There doesn't need to be another reason. I just want to do what I can to make him comfortable before it's his time.

Had a good day.
I ate and edible and went to the beach!
I ate an edible and Jess and I chilled with her friends at the beach.
Drank, smoked weed, swam and bumped nectar all day.
Then we got a sushi dinner and move the party over to the air bnb.
We just chillin now!
I have a feeling I’ll need a lazy day tomorrow, basically been going non stop since we got out here.
Love you dorks.

Finally brought old pupper home. Got alot of maybes and mights but he's worth trying to see everything.
All his counts are way up. Maybe Cushing's, maybe liver disease, maybe an infection. He's going on antibiotics and an appetite stimulator to see what that does.
I'm just glad the anxiety of waiting to see if it's terminal cancer is over. And the vet says he doesn't seem to be in much pain, which was my bigger concern.
If it happens to be his time at least I'll know we did what we could to keep him here, happy and healthy, until his old mule ass was good and ready to go.
Thanks Sonic, btw.

All my pets have been special. Meat has always been a momma's boy and a mother bear. When my cousins were little he'd protect them from the other dogs. He'd puff out his chest and growl at them, bulldoze them if he had to, to make sure they acted right around him and the little ones. Kittens and puppies to. He taught and protected and mothered them all.
And he was right there by my side mothering me through all my physical therapy and helping me find my legs again.
I doubt I ever had or will have another pet that incidentally effected so many lives.
I dunno if he was blessed to have me but I was certainly blessed to have him. Especially for so many years.
