From the ones on this page the Blanding's turtle looks like the closest match, didn't see any colored markings like a painted turtle.

Oh
That’s no bueno. Sorry to hear that. Our bodies are not evolved to respond favorably to irregular sleep cycles. Hope you’re managing as well as can be.

Hope you can get your sleep schedule back!
My sleep schedule is semi-good. I usually stay up to 2-4am and sleep till the sun hits me in the face (around 10 or 11am). Gotta keep that window up for my San Pedro
Today is a misty day. How calm and gentle especially in comparison to the storms going on near Texas!
Working on a collab art project today using Faerie's drawing (with permission). Im loving it so far.

I haven't slept well in about a week or so.
Probably the lunar energy messing with my lycanthropy.
I've been watching someone react to r/yiffinhell (side note I would have been good not remembering what vore is...) Furry sex cringe stuff.
My legs have been hurting alot and something liver kidney thing the week(s) before probably a more realistic explanation but lunacy is more fun.
I'm on a half day tomorrow. If light storms I'll hit the trails. If heavy storms I'll work on the house. If no storms I don't know because that's just not computing in my plans.

Thanks dude. I'm hoping they'll die down when I get off but between all the rain and the fact that there will be some wind I suppose there's a good chance there's gonna be alot more blow downs over the weekend.
Part of why I want to go out. I'm fascinated with how the landscape changes. Sometimes I go deep in the woods and find dozens of rotting trees, bent trees, telephone lines and poles from old hurricanes and I'm just like duuude.
Though I expect I wouldn't like to live in a place like Florida where the landscape just gets demolished every couple years. Being intimately familiar with it is part of the pleasure of watching nature shape it.
Storming pretty intensely now. Lightening that lights up everything. Fun stuff.

Honestly I don't think I've slept well in years. I'm desperate enough, and quite honestly a little freaked out enough (by my consistently hellish lack of sleep) to go seek out a sleep specialist

I just drink once a week now. For all of 2020.
I wake up constantly through the night. Like hourly. I never drift into a deep sleep where I just sleep without waking up for like 4 straight hours. I can't even remember the last time that ever happened. I like kinda drift off into that early dream stage, where you're halfway awake and halfway asleep, but still able to have some dreams. And then I wake up and wash, rinse, repeat.

CookieCrumbs said: I was with you until you decided to chase him.
1. He might have actually had a weapon and seriously hurt or killed you. A purse isn't worth dying for.
2. If you did have a physical confrontation you could have seriously hurt him. Even by accident. You could push him and he hit his head. Murder of a minor, especially a black minor, probably wouldn't be good for you. Good semiratin clauses might not have protected you as you gave chase.
I get you probably weren't thinking of all that at the time but now you're talking about hunting him down? C'mon dude. Petty theft isn't worth all that.
If he had a weapon and was willing to use it then he would have kept the purse and not dropped it. He probably would have committed armed robbery instead of purse snatching too. I was almost 95% sure this kid didn't have a gun.
There wasn't going to be a physical confrontation. Just following him so that I could report him. If he did try to swing on me I could grab him and hold him down with one arm. I wasn't going to start punching him or anything. Nobody said anything about putting him in the hospital. I'm not a frickin animal.
This is the neighborhood that I live in and where my wife goes running everyday. I'm not going to let this shit go down if I have a choice. What if I let him go and then he robs my wife or neighbor? I stand up to gang members and anybody starting shit near my house. Gotta do the right thing even if there is risk involved.

My sleep is the same way Niffla. It sucks bad, but I'm mostly used to it. There are probably only 3 or 4 days a year that I sleep through most of the night. Waking up sucks, but then after an hour I feel energized and normal. I guess my body doesn't need much sleep.
There was a nice peacock at my job the other day and now I want one for my neighborhood. Has anyone ever raised a peacock? I worked at one job where the owner had a couple albino peacock and they were beautiful! I'm thinking of getting a couple eggs to hatch. Only problem is that there are a few stray cats around a raccoons so I either need to take them out and/or lock the cock down at night.
