Body feel / Physical sensation on shrooms

Yesterday I tripped for the first time. It was a very very very odd experience but had a great outcome. The most surprising aspect was that my body felt very different. In all my research I had never heard of this. I was only expecting visuals and thought changes.
List of physical sensations I observed: - I noticed how breathing was such a task and had to really focus on it for about 30 minutes during the come up. This was a touch scary at the start. - Whole-body numbness, like when you are super drunk. - I was lying in bed 90% of the trip and found my self just touching my legs, stomach, hair, pulling skin, my nose, and feeling my teeth with my tongue. Everything just felt very odd. - My nails felt a bit sharper. - Other... specific... places... felt very very odd :O - A few instances had me thinking there was hair on my fingers but nothing was there. - Whilst lying in bed I really could notice how bendy my body was, and lying straight on my back felt the best. - I also kept just leaving my mouth wide open and also noticed that I was constantly clenching my teeth hard without noticing. - Lastly, I remember having a slightly bad taste in my mouth, and my mouth was always dry so I kept drinking water.
I want to ask if these sensations are common. Alternatively, explain your physical sensations.
PS. Took 1g of dried powdered subaeruginosa in a glass of water on a very very empty stomach, and was quite tired at the time also. These were also abort subs (veil only just broken), which I suspect were more potent than fully grown subs. PPS. I did have some very mild hallucinations/visuals but nothing crazy.

I think since you had such a rapid comeup and focused on the bodily sensations, you felt them very strongly. Those are all effects you can get from the mushrooms. You didn't mention yawning which is typical for most on the comeup.

all normal 100% but not always the main focus, you looped around these issues because you were afraid they might not be normal.
be braver while still being careful if you know what i mean. (as opposed to careful and scared that you were not careful enough)

I usually experience the opposite with my breathing. As someone with asthma, I notice a marked decrease in chest congestion, causing my breathing to become completely unlabored. Almost to the point of eliciting feelings of euphoria.

As mentioned above, all very normal (although different people may have sensations you didn't and you may have sensations they didn't).
Generally, like evlyshrooms, my breathing feels easier and i feel like my blood pressure goes down.
My mouth always ends up wide open because I get so awed by the experience that at a certain point my jaw drops and I forget I have a mouth until it gets dry from hanging open or something of the sort
Also, I always feel like a house is dropped on me, the body load and pressure in unbelievably intense but, oddly, cathartic and euphoric.

I feel like different species will have different effects on body as well. Are you guys all referring to trips from ps. cubensis? I've tried ovoideocystidiata, caerulescens, and gymnopilus in addition to cubensis. Found caerulescens to have greatest impact of body load for me, though this could possibly be a result of other external factors

I am going to assert that what one does during the trip has the biggest effect on bodyload on cubes at least. If you are walking in nature you may hardly feel anything, but laying in the bed or sitting down it feels a lot different in my experience.

My first trip in 20 years was a amaziy, the comeup was a bit rough but after like an hour and a half I felt amazing. Same thing, everything was very euphoric, happened to hug my sleeping wife and my soul just melted into her. I just let out a huge sigh of relief as she wondered wtf I was doing. Ended up just squishing on her all night, and I remember the dogs fur feeling amazing . So much so he curved me the rest the night and wouldn’t let me pet him lol
Unfortunately I been chasing that euphoria ever since and haven’t had it. Took a two week hiatus see if that helps

I was listening to music and a chord rung out and my body felt like a string just vibrating the chord. Things get fucking weird but that's all part of it.

I don't believe different mushrooms would produce different effects, only dosage because all mushrooms have psilocybin and psilocin and those are the drugs that cause the effects.

Baeocystin as well. And different species have carry different levels of each of those chemicals.

Then what about paralysis from high quantities of psilocybe subaeruginosa? https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24404157/fpart/1/vc/1
It's not that simple, brother.

Semilanceata is a real different one in that profile. I have read it being described as very euphoric compared to cubes. Perhaps the baeocystin produces that effect as it has an anxiolytic effect according to Stamets who did a study on it. And that Azurescens is in another league entirely

Oh wow, news to me. Thanks. Actually I recall watching one of Paul Stamets talks and he said azurescens has a paralyzing effect. Too bad subaeruginosa isn't on that chart.

Psilocybe Semilanceata, aka Liberty Caps, are awesome. I would give them two overriding features, that for me are far more pronounced compared to Cubensis:
- The headspace is really quite dark and menacing. Though it is a very predictable headspace, so not as scary as I’m making it sound. It’s just “darker” than cubensis.
- The Open Eye Visuals are insane! Whereas with cubensis, generally speaking, inanimate objects change colour, get wavy, and sometimes feel alive; on Liberty Caps, stuff dances, looks at you, completely morphs into cartoon like figures. It’s a completely different ball-game.
As for the euphoria aspects, not something that’s particularly stood out for me as being different to cubensis.

Not yet, D3monic! I have tried unsuccessfully to grow pan Cyans at home, but no luck to date. Also been unlucky hunting outdoors for Wavy Caps, so Liberties, and cubensis, are all I’ve tried. Tried lots of laboratory produced hallucinogens, but only those two “organic”. I bought Roger Rabiits videos a few weeks back, so might have a bit more success with the horse poo I harvested from my Liberty Cap fields

Liberty Caps are so much stronger than cubensis; but it’s not like you’ve taken twice a cubensis dose; it’s more that th e experience is always different. It just gets stronger and stronger too, so no matter how much cubensis you take, it will never be the level of liberty caps. But yeah, the boundaries do become blurred at higher doses.
On high cubensis doses (>5g) inamniamte objetcs as I said do feel alive. With liberty caps, you get this at low doses; at higher doses, that “alive” is almost indistinguishable from really alive@ if that makes sense? It’s what I would describe almost as a true hallucination, which I don’t believe you get with cubensis? On cubensis, I can get my plants “stretching out to me” at high doses. On low liberty cap doses this effect is more pronounced. God, cliche, but really struggling with the words to try and describe the differences!
I find high cubensis doses quite “racy”. The come up happens much sooner, and strength increases really fast; almost like “speed”. Don’t get this on liberty caps.
A “heroic” dose of liberty caps is approx 3.6g dry. My second ever liberty cap trip, 35 years ago, was “approximately” 500g fresh - that was a special night; one which made me terrified of dying, for decades. Be careful!

500g? holy shit you're a wild man. If 5g is a heroic dose idk what you'd call that.
