Ive been searching on google over and over with different words and I cant find the answer. Ive cooked grain jars multiple times and I honest cant remember if I had them a touch loose or tight. I pack my polyfill really tight. I feel dumb my bad.

I have the opposite experience- I put them in tight and they come out a little loose.
Sorry Cats, I know this doesn't help!

The polyfill will never cause your jar to explode in the pc, or else they wouldn't be able to breathe outside of the pc.

My water has high minerals in it and I think as it evaporates it gets lime in the threads making the rings a pita to get off the jars after the pc.

That's actually an intelligent guess. Could be.

My jars literally come out looking like someone threw flower on them, and the rings are a half turn back they still feel like sandpaper when im unscrewing them. Only thing I can come up with, now I spray them with vinegar after the pc to get it off the glass lol.
