Chris was a spoiled little rich brat that thought he could do this big adventure thing and it ended up killing him. What a fucking dipshit to throw away all the opportunities he had in life.

Yeah, I love the nature lovers. I usually take 3 plus weeks every week on the Pacific Crest Trail. No go, closed. Been on section hiking the last 3 summers. Alaska my brother worked at Denali. Strange stories how they run things there on the buses and rules.
Still trying to figure the fuck I want to do do with Summer. And the news about the virus isn't good so thinking, how shitty this summer will be, one only gets so many of them in life.
But shit, I feel you man. What can you do?

Agreed
Maybe Im wrong in this regard but I feel like the movie portrayed him as some sorta green Jesus
Whilst the book portrays him differently and way more egotistical

Yep! I didn't read the book though, don't need to after the movie. I got my feel from the movie alone, lol.

The movie sucked ass (in a bad way )
The book is quite good, but I like most works by Krakauer

I thought the movie was okay. Sure they may have taken some liberties with his portrayal, but no one wants to watch a film like that and cheer when the main character dies. It was close enough to the truth you can get an understanding of the story and it wasn't boring or brain-dead. There were nice characters and there weren't any parts where I felt like throwing stuff at the television.

Ive only read the wikipedia article, someone found him like 2 weeks after he died, if he only lived a few weeks longer he would have been rescued, thats a sad story

They had the Merry Prankster bus on display at the Oregon Eclipse Festival in 2017. Not sure if that's the same as the Grateful Dead bus or what though.

I am strongly considering a piece of property near Healy just off parks road. Thought it be cool to be near a Denali and the stampede road.
