Hi guys, Did some fresh shrooms a few days ago. I've only ever done them fresh a couple of times as I've always had dried ones. I've had a banging headache for 2 days, do you think fresh shrooms are more likely to give you a headache than dried ones?

Sleep deprivation and generally exhasuting always causes headaches for me. So maybe dont do it at night, and skip the noise and try find a more quite and peaceful place?

Not unless in the sense that fresh mushrooms always give a more intense trip than dried. So you’re even more dehydrated than usual. But headache for 2 days bro, that surely isn’t dehydration.

I had an intense level 5 two nights ago. I woke up the next day with a pounding headache. I’m not sure if the mushrooms themselves can cause a bit of a headache but I always plan two days for a trip. One day is preparation and tripping. The next day is recovery and reflection.
When I get a headache usually some food, water, sleep and a little caffeine helps. ( i drink to much coffee probably withdraw headache) Just my experience.

how about tooth grinding or sore jaw muscles - these are common experiences, and sometimes they engender headache.

I would put most cases of post-trip headache down to dehydration. Very often when you get carried away in the moment, you forget how thirsty you are. When I do remember to drink, it can be a lot, and it tastes so good; always a sign you’re pushing dehydration limits.....
But there will be exceptions; that’s why I said a headache for 2ndays after a trip sounds like something more than dehydration.
But I’m no medical expert either!

Dehydration is a major thing for me, if I don't drink enough I will get a hangover like feeling the next day which includes headache also, and it can linger subtly for days. Getting rehydrated and eating properly always fixes it for me.
