Good job doing your research and not just trusting everyone.
Like I said though the yellowing if it’s metabolites, can only be caused by stress and stress comes in many forms with something like mycelium. I hope it works but I don’t expect many mushies in the next flush if any.
Only trust TC’s but even then be sure you understand why what they say is true. Just because a tc says it and it’s true doesn’t mean it will help you unless you understand why what they say is true. Same goes for anything in life. Always do your own research and always find the facts. Be careful how you word searches too because if you search something dumb like “mushies don’t need oxygen” then you’ll find more results confirming what you search. It’s about how ya word it for sure. Just a tip not related to the mycelium at hand here.
BTW I don’t think I confirmed that I think it’s metabolites. I just assumed you knew it was for sure metabolites and went off of that. Discoloring of the myc can be caused by several factors including simple bruising but I’m not sure why it would look so OFF WHITE unless it’s metabolites. 🤷♂️

Ill keep you posted man. That way we all learn. Im pretty certain its metabolites though. It is a little late in game for bacteria but then again from what I read too many metabolites are breeding ground for bacteria. So can go either way at this point.

👍 turns out it wasn’t metabolites. Or the myc was stressed from such huge dicks about to pop 🤣

Could be radioactive for all I know. Since running UV-C light over them growth increased tremendously.
