how hopeless are these jars? (first grow + pics) 1

hey y'all, this here is my very first grow, and i think i totally fucked it up
i innoc'd 5 jars of MDK on May 25th using bod's cheapest way to get started BRF tek. 3 of them took maybe 10 days to show growth, 1 only started showing growth last Friday (6/19), and the last 1 looks like it'll probably remain a dud so i think i'm gonna toss it outside in a pot tomorrow.
early on in the process i lost control of my temperature and ended up having it spike up into what was probably the high80s-low90s. on top of this, i was much too excited when i first started and moved my jars A LOT, knowing it could easily be my downfall. oh well, first experiment!
probably around 2 weeks ago i noticed little yellow/orange/brown patches on my cakes. i thought the might be making metabolites because of the heat stress, and the patches never looked like they grew bigger so i ignored them. now, however, one of my jars is prematurely pinning like crazy and a second one just started to do it as well. i'm assuming it's trying to save itself since none of the jars are fully colonized yet; they're nearly there at around 90-99% colonization.
curious if anyone can identify what this is/which factor most likely caused it? i'm hoping it was the heat because that's easy to avoid next time. also, something about these pictures makes the spots seem a lot moldier than they look irl. that isn't to say they look good on my end. they dont. but they look less sludgy.
jar 1 (lots of pins):

jar 2 (mild pinning):

jar 3 (no pins):

in this situation, what's the best move? should i birth and fruit the pinning cakes even though it's neither fully colonized nor has it had a consolidation period? is it safe to ignore the bacteria(?) to try and fruit? if it's mold and not bacteria is it unsalvageable? should i just cut my losses, pick the pins, and toss the rest?
thanks for any input

Definitely birth the pinnng ones! All is not lost! They are ready for the FC.
If u see uncolonized parts, just cut them out using a knife. And dont dunk cause they are pinning.
As for the non-pinning cakes, they do look like they might be infected. I would fruit in isolation myself like using the plastic bag FC method. Could be just metabolities thou, which would be great news if so.
Not bad overall, could have been much worst.

phew, thanks a bunch for this! makes me feel a lot better about what i did haha!
i was planning on following the easy af method for fruiting as well:
Quote:
bodhisatta said: when it comes time to fruiting skip the SGFC and do this. If using half pint cakes like the PF tek then birth them, wash the dry verm barrier off, put the cake back in the jar and put some new verm on the top.
do you think that's a bad idea since the jars got sort of contaminated already?

my jars grew weird but hey, they grew.
i think the first flush might be ready pretty soon? hard to tell with the way they're growing...any thoughts? i know people also choose different times to pick, don't want to do it too early but would also prefer to not have spores everywhere.
also totally didn't water them enough, need something to help with rh. learning learning

third jar i literally forgot about because i had it fruiting separately for fear of contam but am an idiot with no attention span
