Why bother suffering? I don't know what death brings but I assume it's "nothingness".

Re: Pinkerton
The answer needn't matter .... the attachment however is the crux of the matter. Equanimity is not trapped by such trivialities, beyond our control.

The only thing that can be experienced is experience. If there's nothingness you won't know it so if you ever happen to big bang again you'll be back at square one. Nothingness for 0-infinity length of time that's never perceived. Then boom you're born

Because out of suffering, something beautiful can blossom. I suffer daily (physically, mentally and spiritually) but I'm trying to turn that suffering into cosmic love.

The question of living and dying is an absurd fetish for people attached to the meaning of words rather than the experience of existence.
You live and dye in every moment.

Since death is an inevitable part of life - 9/10 it’s an unskillful move to make because it’ll happen of its own accord anyways. Suicide doesn’t save you from suffering per say, it makes it so you cannot experience anything at all whatsoever. We’re all destined for the big blackout, no need to rush and try and make it happen on your own, it’s built into us and part of the natural order. Because you won’t remember any of your life anyways, the nature of the suffering you perceive is ultimately akin to an illusory phantom or hallucination - see it for that and be free to experience your life fully and directly. Such experience is also zero-dimensional, like brushing one's teeth. Whatever occurs, luminous energy without intent, positive or negative, it is an echo-like event; whatever it is, it bursts, leaving no trace, so relax into zero-dimensional unitary space.
Maha Prajna Paramita Hridaya Sūtra
*Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, when practicing deeply the Prajna Paramita, perceived that all five skandhas in their own being are empty and was saved from all Suffering. O Shariputra, form does not differ from emptiness, emptiness does not differ from form. That which is form is emptiness, that which is emptiness, form. The same is true of feelings, perceptions, impulses, consciousness.

Hate to sound bleak but in the past, I would have. However, having discovered some sources of tremendous personal joy and fulfillment over the past few years, I have come to not fear death necessarily, but to do everything in my power to avoid it simply because once I’m no longer here, I’ll no longer be able to do the things I love.

It would be very tempting but probably I'd say no. I'd like to die fairly soon. This lifetime I've had, has really been quite bad but I feel like better things are possible and I'd really like the chance to move onto something new, get a fresh start and possibly redeem myself.
I want to stick around a little longer here for a few reasons though. I have an old dog that I've grown quite fond of and I want to care for her throughout the final chapters of her life. I want to clean my room so I don't leave a huge mess behind and I am curious to see how this whole corona virus thing ends. However if you told me I was to die tonight I would probably be excited.

I have never even stalked you, you have intrued my life and turned it into ruins. Here's the deal OC: fuck the fuck off, I won't nothing to do with you and leave me alone or feed me happiness.
