flour question

is "all natural" rye flour an ok sub. for organic brf?? i am out of BRF and i cant find any "organic" flour where i live at all. there dont apear to be any chems in it and it is not bleached or anything but it does not say "organic" so .......

i was looking at that rye flour as well. because isn't rye one of the better substrates?

yea rye flour has been said to work well my problem is more in the all natural v. organic i was looking for first had exp. if possible.

i may just try and see then report back but my next trip to the store is not till sun. (laundry and shopping day in our house) so i was hopping for some insight first

i think that you have to get organic because of the fungicide and such

Yes it works well. I have used it on a few cakes before.
Organic isnt that important, its realy just for peace of mind
most flour does contain forms of fungicide, but in very
low concerntrates and they normally become useless
after you have sterilised your substrate ime.

BAD IDEA!

i baught some All Natural flour for my first time growing, i loaded up 12 jars, and NONE of them colonized, cept 3, and they got to about a size of a dime, NOT EVEN RHIZOMORPHIC AT ALL... bad idea on that flour man, cuz now i used organic, and everyone after that has done awesome...
