well...if they were trying to get bush out of there...announce it publicly? that's rather dumb.
they only thing I ever saw that got me thinking about what silver is suggesting is that we gave the bin laden famil ya free pass to fly, when NOE ELSE was supposed to fly at all.
that...and the 9/11 attacks happened on the least busiest day of the year, where many of the casualties were firefighters..police...ambulances, and of course the people and ground zero. if they were looking for a statement, it would make sense to do it on a more busier day.
silver...what makes you think kerry doesn't want to keep going with the war. he has yet to make a firm stance.
here's my hunch, I think the news is fake...seriously...what about all the soldiers who have comitted suicide over there? yet to hear one word about that on the TV or papers. i have a buddy in the army telling me how bad it is there...it's horrid. they'll show the american getting killed in this manner no problem...but what about our soldiers raping irqi women and killing their children, this stuff IS happening over there. the war crimes are on both sides...but really..it's a war. I don't trust the news anymore, it always seems with wars, assassinations, 20-30-40 years down the line the real news starts to come out, when the poeple who were involved really can't do much anymore.
I smelled the draft 4 months ago, made a post about it, and now...they are acutally discussing it, too bad the only show I heard about it on was the daily show!
let's see who ownes these companies that have a say on the news. we used to have 300 in the sixties, now it's down to four, and oh yesssss...how the soft money rolls on in!!! something is up, but what?
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Maybe Al Quida and Kerry are "best friends", with Al Quida shaking the confidence of the American people in their leader so that Kerry can step in.

Kerry isn't using the attacks on US forces as an indicator that Bush can't protect the nation? do you really want me to debunk that?

After some careful consideration, I've decided to retract my statement. I falsely assumed that Al Queda would know what it's doing, and just as idiots over here feel the need to add fuel to the fire by increasing anti-Arab violence, it would be logical for me to assume that Al Queda would also fall into the fallacy that by doing these things that they are actually accomplishing their goals.

Yes, isn't it interesting how aggressive religous zealots have inspired aggressive religous zealots? They create and strengthen one another. Thus maintaining their hold on power. In other words, they have an interest in prolonging the conflict. (See Israeli-Palestinian conflict for reference). I would not, however, maintain the conspiracy is a conscious one.

A terrorist group actually endorced Bush's re-election... Bombing Group Reportedly Wants Bush Re-Elected Terrorists Say They Need Bush's 'Idiocy' To Wake Up Islamic World POSTED: 11:19 a.m. EST March 18, 2004 CAIRO, Egypt -- An Islamic militant group that had claimed responsibility for the train bombings in Spain says it supports the re-election of President George W. Bush. The group said it needs what it calls Bush's "idiocy and religious fanaticism" to "wake up" the Islamic world. In the statement, the group also named its next possible targets. A London-based Arabic newspaper said the countries mentioned were the United States, Japan, Italy, Britain or Australia. The paper said on its Web site that it got a statement from the group, identified as "The Brigade of Abu Hafs al-Masri." The group said it's calling a truce in Spain to give the country time to carry out its pledge to withdraw troops from Iraq. It also boasted that it can "change and destroy countries." The United States said the group lacks credibility, saying it has claimed responsibility for events in the past to which it wasn't linked. More Bombing Arrests In Spain Four more arrests have been made in connection with last week's train-bombing attacks in Madrid. All four are believed to be of Moroccan origin. Several other Moroccans are already in custody in connection with the attack. A Spanish radio station reported that one of the four new suspects may be linked to a previous attack. The report said police believe he may have been involved in deadly bombing attacks in Morocco last year. Sources said three of the suspects were arrested in a town outside Madrid where some of the trains targeted in the bombings originated. It's the same town where police found a van with detonators and a cassette tape with verses from the Quran. Also, a witness there said he saw three men in ski masks carrying knapsacks toward the train station. The fourth suspect was arrested in northern Spain. The arrests bring the number of people detained to ten. Police reportedly want to question 20 others -- nearly all Moroccan. Thursday, a judge will question five of the earlier detainees to see if they should be freed or held longer. Police had invoked the country's antiterrorism statute, which allowed them to interrogate the suspects for up to five days before bringing them before a judge. Spanish Government Opens Intelligence Reports In the wake of the upset of its ruling party, the Spanish government is releasing intelligence reports on the immediate aftermath of last week's Madrid bombings. Officials said they want to respond to claims they lied about who was responsible. Some Spanish officials initially blamed Basque separatists, but they're now investigating an al-Qaida link. The reports were gathered by Spain's National Intelligence Center. Leaders said they received information last Friday to the effect that the intelligence center was "almost certain" a militant Basque separatist group was behind the attack. The group denied responsibility. The ruling party lost Sunday's general election amid allegations that it had provoked the bombings and made Spain a target by backing the U.S.-led Iraq war. http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/2932006/detail.html The Guardian has quotes from the endorsement: "The political fallout from the attacks, which ushered in a general election victory for the socialist leader Jos? Luis Rodr?guez Zapatero, was today further fuelled by a statement from an al-Qaida-linked group offering a Europe-wide truce to see if the new Spanish government made good on its pledge to pull troops out of Iraq....... The email offering a truce, sent to the London-based Arabic newspaper al-Quds al-Arabi by the Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigade, also endorsed George Bush's election campaign. "We are very keen that Bush does not lose the upcoming elections," it said. "We know that a heavyweight operation would destroy your government, and this is what we don't want. We are not going to find a bigger idiot than you." "The Abu Hafs Brigade made the first claim of responsibilty for the Madrid bombings but it is believed by US intelligence to lack credibility and have only tenuous links with al-Qaida" http://www.guardian.co.uk/spain/article/0,2763,1172454,00.html A vote for Bush is a vote for terrorism lol

Terrorists Say They Need Bush's 'Idiocy' To Wake Up Islamic World
Certainly true. Illegally invading Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with the "war on an abstract noun" and has been a better recruiting seargent for Bin laden than he could ever dream of.

we cannot be awakened.
Because we live basically comfortable lives on average. (therefore many Americans choose to "stay out of it" or "not get involved")
And because the rest of us that know better, (and who distrust media and television) and would step up and say something, know that we are an oppressable minority.
And because those of us who actually do step up and say something actually are oppressed and discredited. (mostly through media slander)

Bush is a good president. No he may not give the best speeches, but he gets the blame for alot of shit that is not his fault. Gas prices, for one. Clinton is who should be blamed for 9/11 if anyone. For years everybody who knows anything about news or politics knew the name usama bin laden. He was behind the bombing of the USA embasy in africa, the USS cole , etc. Clinton knew where he was, exactly where, but decided against taking him into custody for 'lack of evidence'. Give me a break, lack of evidence? We had countless clues pointing in the direction of alqeuda on all of the terrorist attacks in recent years. Well not all, but MOST! Clinton diddnt do his job because he was afraid of what the UN and other nations would say. Fuck that pussy. Bush is a great president just trying to do his job. Vote bush again, if this country has any hope left! If kerry gets elected, you can almost guarantee another attack of some sort.

> Bush is a good president. Kinda like saying Moore's documentaries are unbiased and accurate. > Clinton diddnt (sic) do his job because he was afraid of what the UN and other nations would say. So it is ok to ignore treates we have signed in the past because we are America? I guess that explains the toture pictures by US soldiers coming out of the Iraqi prisons. What ever happened to lead by example... we seem to be in the era of do as I say, not as I do. > Clinton is who should be blamed for 9/11 if anyone. I would say it goes back to the first Bush. Clinton didn't help things by any stretch, and in many cases made the quite a bit worse. The second bush also ignored the problems, just as Clinton did, before they came to a head. The terrorist have been at war with America for more than a decade... we just refused to realize it. When you get down to it, nobody is responsible for the events on 9/11 other than the people that did them. Play the blame game all you like, but it is the people that commit the crime that are responsible. Just because I leave my front door unlocked doesn't mean a burglar has the right to enter my house and steal my stuff. > If kerry gets elected, you can almost guarantee another attack of some sort. It doesn't make a bit of difference who is president, there will always be more attacks. This 'war' has been going on for thousands of years... the world has finally gotten small enough that it is just now effecting us.

The Beatles Sgt. Pepper album is an icon for the psychedelic movement.
Bush is an icon for the greedy and corrupt puritanical movement in the same vein as the evil men who crushed the psychedelic movement and destroyed the human race's chance of evolution.
It's like being a jew and having your name be "Mein Kampf" when you're not joking.

An icon for you and some others perhaps, good music to others, shit to still others.
For you to suggest someone change their nick merely because the words are used on an album you like, is just plain silly.
