Hi! I just returned from a hiking trip in the Grampians in Victoria. Whilst out, I spotted a few mushies which I thought were subs and decided it would be a waste to leave them there. My only concern is, they’re a lot bigger than the subs I find in the parks around my area. Also the bigger ones didn’t bruise blue nearly as much as those I normally pick.
Could I please get a second opinion, thanks

Likely subaeruginosa
But the pics are too small, poor quality to give a conclusive ID

Not Psilocybe in my opinion, I don't see any obvious bluing or bluish bruising

I Agree, I Don't Think They Are Either, However, OP Do You Notice Any Bluish Bruising On Any Of Them? Can You Upload Pictures Of It If Possible?

They looked to be slightly bruising at the time, maybe because I had to leave them in the car in a plastic bag(all we had) over the weekend whilst we hiked? You can still see some bruising on Some of the smaller ones.

Ah Ha, I'd Say Those 3 Are Psilocybe Subaeruginosa, Nice Finds Make Sure They All Show The Bluish Bruising & Toss Any That Don't

Psilocybe subaeruginosa, I strongly recommend using scissors to harvest mushrooms in Australia and New Zealand because of Phytophythora cinnamomi a destructive funus that lives in soil. cannot be seen with the naked eye and is easily distributed by disturbing the soil.
