Excalibur COMM2 (~$15k) will do around that. Nothing will get anywhere close to that amount of weight in one unit in one run for under $10k unless you look at chinese imports off alibaba.

This is after a little upgrade, and a better system for holding the mushrooms while drying.

I use a ceramic heater/fan to pump hot air up and out through the vents above.

Works great, 8 'trays' that I currently have can handle 5lbs ++ easily.

As you can see, there are 11 more slots, so you can definitely handle 10lbs.

Built it from construction scrap, so can't give you an exact cost, but I'd estimate maybe 150-200 all in? I built mine for about $100 out of pocket.

Cracker dry in 16-18hrs.

I can't remember for sure (why didn't i write it down?! :suicide:) but i swear my Excalibur 9-tray can do almost a full pound dry (3600 wet stands out to me, which would be just shy of a pound). The Cabela's 160L dehydrator runs $450 USD and is roughly 4x the volume as my Excalibur, so theoretically could hold 4x the weight. That should get you at least 3 lbs dry, at a bare minimum, and for the price vs time it seems like that would be worth it. I'll be upgrading to the Cabela's 160L in the next month, so i can figure out how much it'll handle!
