Good specimen. It looks close to Agaricus arvensis, a popular edible mushroom. However, we don't have enough information to be certain of that ID, and there are some very similar mushrooms that are poisonous, so don't eat it (yet).

What does it smell like? Odor is very important for identification in the genus Agaricus.

Happy mushrooming!

After reading a quick couple of descriptions i think that it might be Agaricus xanthodermus. but this is one of the first mushrooms i've ever found and i wasn't really looking. a few others are coming up right now, although it will be pretty dry in the next few days. i didn't really catch a smell--im sick.

Agaricus xanthodermusis a good bet, which means its toxic.
they are known to parisitize growing lawns and kill off areas of lawn in weeping patches.
also they stain yellow, stink, taste bad, and make you ill
