Fun fact most rums that are coloured are done so artificially to give the appearance of aging/quality.

Also love that Blue Moon, my favourite beer ever.

Cherry Grenadine & Vanilla Extract + Coke + Spiced Rum, and a big ol’ ice sphere shaken altogether n served in a thic but short glass It’s a sort of simple variation of a Midnight Rum. Tastes like a cherry vanilla rum & coke snowcone.
Growing up my grandfather used to make me the non alcoholic drink Roy Rogers, which is close to a midnight rum, so I think that’s why I like the aforementioned mix so much.
And a good IPA is always nice on certain occasions.

Kombucha.
Home brewed.
Alcohol content, <0.5%.
Black/green/white teas, in rotation. Always half black, for SCOBY health.

I haven't had an alcoholic beverage for many years. I enjoy sipping whisky, slowly.
Usually Jack D.
Jack D. is Whiskey! not Whisky. Ooooh the mean things I want to say abbout you ignorance of such a meaning less issue is just what the internet was made for therefor instead I will recommend some Whisky's you might like. Also I thin in many cases whiskey and whisky is legitimately interchangeable.
OK so a list of beginner Whisky's in particular order (note beginner does not mean the drink is not a complex and delicious decoction of delight, just that it is not a smoky, peat monster like Laproaig Quarter Cask or really any Islay distilled Whisky.)
List Macallan 12 y.o.(Like to be called a Pseyside, is nore of a HIghland, but since Speyside is part of the highlands it counts) Balvenie Double Wood (Speyside) Glenmorangie 10.y.o.(true Highland) Glenlivet 12 (affordable too) a nice Speyside Aberlour 12 (another speyside) Highland Park 12 (Orkney Islands) this runs a little peaty but is mild, after trying all the smooth Highlands and Speysides and ypu want something more challenging this is a nice step, as the peat tends to be more ah floral I guess as opposed to seaweed and iodine. Any Dalwhinnine (Highland) Caol Ila 12 year old (Islay) only one to make the slist, but best for dipping ones toes into the world of peaty, smokey single malt scotches.
Any scoth enthusiasts got a suggestion(yes I know some Japanes(scotchs) are incredible I've tried most before the price exploded, but any suggestions welcome or just talk of the finer points of a good dram of whisky after a tough day.
Edit: all are single malts, but I accept blends as well not that much of a snob.

I really like Cream Liqueur. I think it's my favourite. What I drink regularly is beer, though, which I do like a lot. Sometimes Rum and Coke is my choice too when out and about.
But yeah, Cream Liqueur.
I like this one from South Africa. Amarula.

But you can see reviews online, people like it generally.

Vodka and cranberry, no fruit, most of the time. Occasionally beer or a whiskey & 7. Titos, grey goose, or hangar vodka. I do love an extra dirty martini, up, extra dry, stirred not shaken, every once in a while, extra olives.

Vodka contains 40 percent alcohol, or 80 proof. ... The term actually dates back to England in the 1500s, back when spirits were taxed at different rates depending on their alcohol content.
so 50 means 100 and so on.

Sounds great for the summer heat.
@ice9 I meant to throw this scotch suggestion your way. Laphroaig makes the best scotch I've ever had. You need to like rustic and pithy though. Warm and straight only.

Favourite cocktail would be a Paloma, which is super simple and refreshing on a hot day. Been getting into sour beers a lot lately though...

I don't drink anymore, but rum is my favorite hard liquor. On the rare occasion that I do drink, I like guiness draught the best. If I'm at a club or something and need some kind of mixed drink, I generally just do a rum and coke, but anything mixed with rum is probably good enough for me. That cherry vanilla coke spiced rum drink sounds good. But I don't remember when the last time I had a mixed drink even was. Probably at least 5 years ago.
